Why this build
The unit is specified with a 3+2 scrap grab for steel offcuts and mixed ferrous material, and a 900 mm class electromagnetic chuck is fitted for the small pieces a grab cannot hold. One operator therefore clears both the big and the small fraction of a pile without walking the yard.
The crane on this truck is interchangeable by specification: the same chassis and mounting will take a 5 t, 6.3 t or 8 t crane, or a log-grab boom, so a fleet can be built on one platform and the attachment matched to each site.
The body is 5,700 × 2,400 × 800 mm, giving a 9,000 mm overall length.
