Why this build
The crane is a 5 to 6.3 t three-section knuckle boom reaching 8.2 m with an 11.2 m working height, carrying a 3+2 grab or a 4-petal grab. Crane and grab head both rotate 360° continuously. This is the municipal-duty build: mixed refuse, bulky waste and green waste that cannot be handled by a rear-loading compactor.
The lifting axle raises off the ground when the truck runs light, which cuts tyre scrub and fuel burn on the way to and from the tip, then drops to carry the full 24,495 kg when the 4,300 × 2,430 × 1,500 mm body is loaded. Tipping is twin-ram, so the load leaves in one movement.
The body uses 3 mm side / 5 mm floor steel with densified cross members, 160/140 channel side-door posts and four tipping seats.
Options: Grab head type (3+2 or 4-petal).
