Why this build
The crane is a 6.3 t (or 5 t) three-section knuckle boom with an 8.25 m working radius; with the boom fully extended the 3+2 universal grab handles 850 kg. Because the grab is rigid-linked with a lifting nose, the same attachment lifts on the hook and grabs on the grab — no change-over between tasks.
A self-powered high-frequency electromagnetic chuck is fitted, so ferrous offcuts that are too small to grab can be picked up magnetically. Both the grab head and the crane rotate 360° continuously.
The tipping body runs 3 mm side / 5 mm floor steel with centre-mounted twin rams, four tipping seats and densified cross members.
